About LEGO Animal Crossing™

LEGO Animal Crossing translates the relaxed island life of Nintendo's game into compact, cheerful playsets for children from around six and for adult fans of the series. The villagers are special figures with moulded heads that capture the game's look far better than standard minifigures could, and the buildings are designed with open backs and interchangeable furniture so they can be rearranged, much like decorating a home in the game.

The largest set we track is Creative Houses: Seasons of Fun (77057), followed by Blathers's Museum Collection (77056) and Nook's Cranny & Rosie's House (77050). Recent additions include Goldie's Cosy House (77058) and Timmy & Tommy's Fun Day Out (77059). Most sets are small or mid-sized, and several combine one building with one or two villagers.

Every Animal Crossing set we track is currently discounted somewhere, averaging roughly a third off. One set has already been retired. Nintendo licences tend to be well supported, but individual sets can rotate out quickly. The villager figures are the main source of collector interest: popular characters that appear in only one set are what people look for after retirement.

Choose sets by the villagers you want, since that is what most fans care about in the long run. With the whole range regularly on offer there is no reason to pay RRP. Several small sets can be combined into a larger island scene, so buying two or three discounted boxes often gives more than one bigger set.
