LEGO Editions

About LEGO Editions

LEGO Editions is a recent umbrella for display-oriented sets built around sport, music and wider pop culture. Rather than a single fictional world, the theme collects models of recognisable objects and personalities: a football, trophies, a racing helmet, guitars and tributes to named athletes and artists. The target audience is teenagers and adults who follow those subjects and want a build that ends up on a shelf or desk, and the building style leans towards sculpted shapes, careful colour blocking and printed detail.

The biggest sets in Brickheist's catalogue come from football: the FIFA World Cup Official Trophy (43020), the Football (43019) and Lionel Messi - Celebration (43018). Newer additions show the breadth of the line, with the Ayrton Senna Helmet (43024) alongside two Olivia Rodrigo sets, Olivia Rodrigo's Dual Guitar (43031) and Olivia Rodrigo's Secret Storage (43030). Sizes range from compact gift-sized models to large centrepieces with well over a thousand pieces.

Despite its short history, LEGO Editions is already heavily discounted. Every set we track in Denmark is currently on offer somewhere, and the average saving among them is more than a third of recommended price, which puts the theme in the same group as Speed Champions and Botanicals. None of the sets have retired yet, so there is no track record for long-term value. Licensed tributes to specific people and events tend to be the ones that attract collectors later, but demand depends heavily on the subject.

Given the widespread discounts, compare prices across shops before buying and avoid paying full price. Sets linked to a major sporting event are often most heavily pushed around that event and cleared afterwards, which can be a good moment to buy. For value per piece, the large football builds are the strongest, while smaller music and sport tributes work better as gifts than as bulk building sets.
