About LEGO Wednesday

LEGO Wednesday follows the Netflix series about Wednesday Addams at Nevermore Academy. It targets teenagers and adults more than young children, which shows in the gothic architecture, the dark colour palette and the detailed interiors packed with references to the show. The figures are standard minifigures of Wednesday, Enid and the Addams family.

The largest set we track is Morticia's Cottage (76786), followed by Nevermore Academy (76788), the school building that anchors the theme, and Thing's Apartment (76785). Wednesday Backpack (76787) is a different kind of product: a brick-built display piece inspired by the character's bag rather than a location. The range is small, and the sets are mid-sized rather than huge.

Every Wednesday set we track is currently on offer somewhere, with an average discount of about 30 per cent. That fits the pattern for streaming licences, which are distributed widely and discounted early. None have retired yet. Themes tied to a single TV series tend to have short lives, so availability can drop quickly once the next season's wave arrives, but the collector premium for such sets is usually modest.

Nevermore Academy is the obvious main purchase, and Morticia's Cottage offers the most building. Buy on discount rather than at launch prices. If you plan to combine sets into a larger scene, check the scale and style of each, as the display pieces are not designed to sit alongside the location sets.
