Brickheist's take
The newest flagship in LEGO's Lord of the Rings range, following large display sets such as Rivendell and Barad-dûr. At over 8,000 pieces it is one of the biggest sets of the year, and its twelve minifigures cover key characters from the films. It is built for display, with detailed interior sections, and it will demand serious shelf space.
Remarkably for such a recent release, the cheapest price is already more than a third below RRP, and that is also the lowest we have recorded. Six shops we track stock it, so there is decent competition. If you were planning to buy, this is a strong moment.
