How we measure a real price drop
We compare today's lowest price at the retailers we link to with the lowest price in the 30 days before the price fell. That mirrors the 30-day rule EU retailers must follow for “was” prices — so a price raised in October only to be “cut” for Black Friday doesn't count.
A set is included when the drop is at least 10% and at least £3, at 3 or more retailers that aren't sold out. Right now 69 sets qualify, and the typical drop is 18%.

Does LEGO get cheaper on Black Friday?
Often, but not always. Many LEGO sets already sell below RRP the rest of the year, and some “deals” are just the normal price. That's why we measure the drop against the lowest price of the 30 days before — not against a “was” price the shop set itself.
What is the 30-day price?
Under EU price rules, a “was” price must be the lowest price the shop charged in the 30 days before the discount. We apply the same principle across all retailers: a set only counts as a Black Friday deal if today's lowest price is below the lowest price of the 30 days before the drop.
