Batman Tumbler vs. Two-Face & The Joker
$0.16/pc
The DC sets we track are mostly large, adult-focused models, with Batman and Gotham City at the centre. Where the children's DC range consists of vehicles and small bases, this group is about architecture and film history: detailed buildings with open interiors full of references, and Batmobiles modelled on specific film versions. Minifigures are a big part of the appeal, often with printing and variants that appear nowhere else.
The largest is Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City (76271), a big façade-style display of the 1990s cartoon's city in its distinctive dark style. Arkham Asylum (76300) follows as a large playable building packed with villains, and the Batman Forever Batmobile (76304) represents the film vehicle line. Batman Tumbler vs. Two-Face & The Joker (76303) is a smaller, more play-oriented option.
Half of the DC sets we track are already retired, which means some listings now show limited stock. Among the sets still on sale, most are discounted by a bit over a quarter on average. Large DC display sets have historically done reasonably well after retirement, particularly those with exclusive minifigures, but the premium tends to build slowly and depends on condition.
If a retired set is still in stock at a normal price, that is the moment to buy rather than wait. For the active sets, a discount is common enough that there is little reason to pay full price. Note that several Batman display models sit in our separate Batman theme, so check both when comparing.
