About LEGO Stranger Things
Stranger Things is the Netflix series about a group of friends in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, in the 1980s, caught up in government experiments and a parallel dimension known as the Upside Down. LEGO first picked up the licence with a large display set of the Byers house and its upside-down mirror image, aimed at adult fans.
The set Brickheist currently tracks takes a different approach. Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Will Figures (40801, 542 pieces) is a set of brick-built figures of the four core friends, the kind of compact character build that works as a desk display for fans of the series rather than as a play set.
With one set in our catalogue, there is little price history to work with. It sits at the lower end of LEGO's licensed display range and is not currently discounted at the retailers we follow. Sets of this type tend to see occasional reductions rather than steep ones, so if you are buying it as a gift for a fan, a price alert is a reasonable way to catch a modest offer without waiting too long.
